In comparison to its previous version, the new Zalo 1.0.7 has undergone significant improvements to better cater to users. Specifically, in the login screen, the developer has added the convenient 'Login with Activation Code' feature, addressing limitations on some mobile devices without QR code scanning functionality.
Step 1: Download and install the latest version on Windows of Zalo for PC.

After downloading Zalo for your computer, proceed with the installation as you would with typical applications. Once installed, the Zalo interface on PC appears as shown below.
Step 2: Select 'Login with Activation Code'
In the main interface of Zalo, choose 'Login with Activation Code' to log in to Zalo using the activation code.
- Enter the phone number you used to register Zalo earlier to receive the activation code sent by the system.
- Note
- The system will send the activation code to users through the Zalo app installed on the mobile device, not via regular text messages (SMS). Therefore, pay attention when checking for the activation code.
Step 3: Enter Zalo Activation Code
Upon receiving the activation code, users utilize it to input into the Zalo application installed on their computer. Then, press 'Login'
After successfully logging into Zalo, you can use it to make free calls and send messages to your friends and family.
- Note
- The Zalo activation code sent to users has a specific usage period. Therefore, if it expires, you can request a new code from Zalo. However, be cautious, as requesting the activation code too frequently will prompt a 15-minute wait for the next code.
Using Zalo on PC, logging in with activation codes requires users to have an activated Zalo account. If you don't have one, you can register to use it. Overall, this is a useful addition that Zalo brings to its users.
In addition to installing and using Zalo on a Windows computer, you can also install Zalo on a MacBook to experience Zalo on the Mac OSX operating system.
Furthermore, if you prefer not to go through the complex installation of Zalo on your computer, you can completely experience and use Zalo on CocCoc, Firefox, or Google Chrome.
