1. Enable Smart Lock
- Navigate to Settings - Setting and select Security - Security
- Go to the Smart Lock section
- Enter your device password
Note: To use Smart Lock, users must set a screen lock password for their device.
2. Choose smart lock mechanism
Smart Lock offers a remarkable feature where it can recognize trusted devices (previously connected via Bluetooth) to assist in connections without unlocking the screen and performing additional actions. Additionally, users can utilize location data from Google Maps (places they have visited) through the location tracking feature to unlock or utilize voice commands, body gestures, or similar actions.

Moreover, many users currently complain about receiving excessive notifications from installed apps on their devices. To disable notifications on Android 5.0, users navigate to Settings, select Sound and notifications, choose Apps, then select the app they wish to disable notifications for, and toggle Off.
