The transition between Davik and ART modes has been discreetly hidden by Asus on Zenfone devices running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. ART allows developers to continue software development, compatible with various CPUs and devices, significantly boosting speed. Activating ART mode isn't too challenging; follow these steps:

- Ensure your Zenfone device has been successfully rooted.

- Root Explorer Version for Android: Download Root Explorer for Android.

- Zenfone running version 4.4.2 Kitkat.

- Back up your data before proceeding.

Step 1: Launch Root Explorer > Navigate to the ROOT tab > System > build prop. Find the line persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib = libvm.so and change libvm.so to libart.so.

Step 2: To edit the build prop, long-press on build prop until the edit options appear. Choose Open With > Text Editor > after editing, press Save changes to save.

Step 3: Restart your Zenfone.
