Method 1: Accessing Facebook when blocked on Google Chrome
On Chrome browser, the simplest way to unblock or access blocked websites, including Facebook, is by using a SOCKS proxy.
Follow the steps below to set up SOCKS proxy on Chrome browser and access Facebook as well as other blocked websites:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome browser.
Step 2: Next, find and click on the 3-dot icon aligned horizontally at the top right corner of the screen, select Settings.
Step 3: Scroll down and click on Advanced =>System =>Open proxy settings.
Step 4: In the Internet Properties window displayed on the screen, click on LAN Settings.
Step 5: Next, on the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window, find and check the option Use a proxy server for your LAN then click on Advanced.
Step 6: Here, enter the proxy server address or IP and proxy port, then click OK.
Step 7: Back in the Internet Properties window, click on Apply to complete the SOCKS proxy setup process.
In case you want to disable proxy settings, follow the same steps from step 1 to 7 and uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN.
From now on, you can freely access Facebook, the website previously restricted on Chrome browser.
Method 2: Accessing Facebook when blocked on Coc Coc browser
