Facebook, the largest social network on the planet, captivates us with its enticing and intriguing content. However, excessive Facebook use can lead to 'Facebook addiction,' and the only remedy is to disable or delete your Facebook account.

1. Temporarily Locking Your Facebook Account on iPhone
Step 1: Open the Facebook app and tap on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen (1) => Settings & Privacy (2) => Settings (3) => Account Ownership and Control (4).

Step 2: Select Disable and Delete (1) => Disable Account (2) => Continue to Disable Account (3).

Step 3: Choose a reason for not using Facebook (1). If you still use Messenger to connect with friends while disabling your account, check the box for Continue Using Messenger (2). Check the box for Do not receive future notifications from Facebook (2), so Facebook notifications like invites and suggestions won't be sent to your registered email when you disable your account. Click on Disable Account (3) to temporarily lock Facebook. Afterward, your Facebook account will automatically log out on mobile devices.

2. Permanently Locking Your Facebook Account
Step 1: Tap on the Add (1) icon in Facebook => Settings & Privacy (2) => Settings (3) => Account Ownership and Control (4).

Step 2: Choose Disable and Delete (1) => Delete Account (2) => Continue Deleting Account (3).

Step 3: To save your data on Facebook, select Download Your Information. Then choose Delete Account (1) and Enter Password (2) to proceed. Confirm Delete Account (3) and you're done.

The Facebook registration and account locking processes are quite swift and straightforward. If you encounter any difficulties, feel free to share your comments and questions with Mytour in the article's comments section! Wishing you all success!
