In the world of contemporary smartphones, extended usage can lead to slowdowns or memory issues. While iPhones excel in memory management compared to many Android counterparts, prolonged usage may cause iPhones to overflow with memory if users don't know how to tidy them up.

In today's article, Mytour will guide you on how to declutter your iPhone to increase storage. Join us for the insights!
Delete seldom-used apps, games, and memory-consuming documents.
To start, go to Settings => General => iPhone Storage. Here, you'll find a list of installed apps on your iPhone with their recent usage times. Select apps that consume a significant amount of storage to view details.

Take the TFlat dictionary app, for example. If you notice the Documents & Data is larger than App Size, it means the app has a lot of junk data. Simply tap Delete App, then go to the App Store to reinstall the app.

Clearing web data on the Safari browser
Similar to PCs, browsers on smartphones, when used for an extended period, can lead to memory congestion due to features like cache storage, browsing history, cookies, etc. To clear web data on the Safari browser, go to Settings => Safari and look for the option Clear History and Website Data.

Restore iPhone Settings to Factory Defaults and Wipe Clean Data
If you've tried all the methods above without success, consider wiping all data and restoring your device to its original state.
Step 1: To erase data on iPhone and reset it to factory settings, go to Settings => General => Reset.

Step 2: Press Erase All Content and Settings.

Step 3: Enter your password if prompted. Then, click Erase iPhone to restore factory settings and delete data.

With simple methods outlined above, you can minimize memory overflow caused by junk files on your iPhone. Remember to regularly perform the first two steps to keep your device stable and durable. Wishing you success!
