Hypercarry Neuvillette Team Build
In this lineup, we channel all buffs towards Neuvillette to maximize his damage potential. The more we invest in his weapon, artifacts, and accessories, the more effective the team becomes. However, at present, Neuvillette only requires Barbara (CM2) and Kazuha for their scaling abilities, as characters with HP or Hydro damage buffs are scarce.

Therefore, the remaining two slots in the team should be filled with strong sub DPS characters that don't require extended field time, such as Fischl or Yae Miko. If Barbara isn't utilized, consider adding a Hydro character to benefit from the maximum HP buff. However, note that Neuvillette rarely triggers Xingqiu's swords or Yelan's water arrows due to his heavy-hitting style. It can be said that until 4.1, there hasn't been a Hydro DPS that truly complements Neuvillette.
This may change in patch 4.2 with the introduction of Furina. Mytour believes she will be a solid addition to the team, providing off-field damage, healing, and maximum HP boosts. However, with at least six weeks before her release, Furina's abilities might undergo revisions. Let's wait and see.

With his excellent Hydro capabilities, Neuvillette can indeed become a field character to trigger the Blossom Reaction. Besides building Neuvillette as a standard DPS, this team requires 1-2 strong off-field Hydro characters and a Thunder-based character built for full Electro synergy, playable like any other Blossom Reaction team.

Current suitable Anemo choices include Nahida, Wayfarer, and Collei. Lightning characters usually feature Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu, but you can also opt for unique choices like Dori (requires sufficient energy for burst). Don't forget to add healing or shielding characters to the team!
Neuvillette + Nilou Sun Swirl
This lineup doesn't differ much from the traditional Nilou team, only using Anemo + Hydro to satisfy Nilou's requirements. Unlike the Blossoming team, Nilou's Sun Swirl reaction creates Grand Hydro Nucleus, resulting in powerful AOE damage. Neuvillette himself excels as a Hydro character to trigger reactions, with a fairly high HP pool, not afraid of 'sudden death' due to explosions. However, you still need a healer to restore health as Neuvillette already drains his own blood.

Apart from Nilou and Neuvillette, indispensable characters, you can include 2 other Anemo characters in the team, such as Nahida or Wayfarer. Suitable choices for the healer position are Baizhu or Yaoyao. One of these Anemo characters should carry the Deepwood Tale artifact set to reduce enemy Anemo resistance.
Neuvillette Vaporize Team Build
This team utilizes the Vaporize reaction (Hydro against Pyro or vice versa) to deal significant damage to enemies. However, it may be challenging to control which character triggers the reaction – both Xiangling and Neuvillette can do this, so you need to invest heavily in both to avoid fluctuations in effectiveness.

We don't have many options when playing Neuvillette for Vaporize. Xiangling always needs to be paired with Bennett for energy, so there's only one spot left. You can use Anemo characters like Kazuha or Sucrose to spread both Pyro (Guoba) and Hydro simultaneously for greater damage, or use shields (Zhongli, Noelle, etc.) to avoid interruptions. Mytour recommends using shields because Neuvillette can't evade while using his special plunging attack.

It can't get any simpler than this; just include 2 Cryo characters in the team (for synergy) and 1 Anemo character to reduce resistance. This lineup is extremely safe, allowing Neuvillette to gather energy and strike whenever desired without worrying about enemy retaliation. However, it's somewhat less effective against enemies with reduced Freeze duration in Fontaine, not to mention that Freezing cannot occur on bosses.

Suitable Cryo characters for this lineup include Shenhe, Rosaria, Diona, and Noelle. As for Anemo, the best choice is Kazuha, but can also be replaced by Venti, Sucrose, or Jean depending on your preference.
Neuvillette Electro Sensation Team Build
This is a fun but not very strong and selective team. In this lineup, you need Neuvillette and at least 2 Electro characters among Fischl, Yae, Beidou; plus one support character. It works best in crowded situations where you can gather enemies together.
Here, Fischl and Yae are two options that require minimal control – just press E and leave the field then use Neuvillette's plunge attack. Both also significantly reduce the team's necessary energy recharge. Meanwhile, Beidou provides high damage output (Neuvillette's plunge attack can trigger Beidou's burst), shields, and disruption resistance.

The last spot in this team can be a shield-generating character if you're not confident in your evasion skills. But if you're a seasoned player, feel free to use Anemo characters carrying the Viridescent Venerer set or Mona + Tohma + Dragonbane book to boost damage significantly.
Neuvillette Destiny 6 team build?
Moreover, Mytour also wants to mention the CM6 situation. In this constellation, the duration of the plunge attack is extended by 1s every time Neuvillette absorbs a Hydro Orb. Therefore, even when standing alone, Neuvillette can unleash a 'kamehameha' attack for up to 13s when absorbing 6 droplets from the field, 3 from elemental skill, and 3 from constellation 4.

In case of solo play, you can add a Hydro Traveler to the team to provide more Hydro Orbs for the judge and extend the plunge attack even further. At this point, other characters in the lineup are not as crucial because Neuvillette will blow them all away with his plunge attack.
Suitable Teammates
In addition to the mentioned names above, Genshin Impact players can also consider using some other useful characters as follows:
Venti: Highly beneficial in situations against small enemies, can be used in crowd control or Freeze teams.
Mona: Her burst ability greatly boosts team damage, despite its short duration and high energy cost.
Zhongli: Provides a sturdy shield and decreases surrounding enemies' resistance, allowing Neuvillette to stand and shoot freely while boosting team damage.
Xingqiu: As mentioned by Mytour, Neuvillette may not often trigger Xingqiu's burst, but he still contributes by providing damage reduction effects and his C2 reduces Hydro resistance.
Yelan: Similar to Xingqiu, besides the Hydro resonance effect, Yelan also buffs Neuvillette's attack damage. If you have C4, she also helps Neuvillette gain an additional 10-40% maximum HP.

Conclusion
Above are all the team building options for Neuvillette that Mytour has obtained during his release period (patch 4.1). In the future, there may be new characters introduced that are more suitable for our judge, but the team framework will surely remain unchanged. Best of luck with your gacha pulls, and see you again in future articles!
