Microsoft Word facilitates easy document editing and reading. However, for focused reading, switch to Inverse mode. Word simplifies the interface and switches to a black background with white text for efficient document reading.
This article guides you on viewing documents in the Inverse mode in Word 2013.
Step 1: On the Word 2013 interface, select the View tab on the Ribbon. Then, choose Read Mode under Views to activate reading mode in Word.

Step 2: When activating reading mode in Word, the Ribbon interface will be minimized to help you focus on the content of your Word document.
By default, Word documents are displayed with a white background and black text (or the text color you choose while editing). To view in inverse mode, select View -> Page Color -> Inverse.

When you choose Inverse mode, the Word background will turn black and the text content will be white. To return to normal editing mode, select View -> Edit Document (or press the ESC key on your keyboard).

With a few simple steps, you can quickly switch your Word document from editing mode to inverse reading mode. Wishing you success!
