Step 3: In the Active section, there are 3 status options for you to choose from: Active, Do not disturb, Invisible , each with different functionalities:
- Active: Indicated by a green dot, signaling that the Skype user is online and available to everyone.
- Do not disturb: Marked by a red dot with a white dash inside, indicating online status to everyone but signaling not to be disturbed.
Step 4: Specifically, when switching your Skype status from Online to Do not disturb, right beside this icon, a red dot with a white dash inside will appear. Letting your friends know not to disturb you.
Step 5: Or when you switch to Invisible status, there's a gray dot, indicating that no one except you knows you're online.
However, it's important to note that setting your Skype status to Online doesn't affect your status when receiving messages. You'll still receive messages as usual and be notified accordingly if configured.
