Android users have always envied iOS users for the renowned iMessage and Facetime features. iMessage, the Internet-based messaging tool, comes pre-installed on iPhones and Apple iOS devices. Packed with numerous handy features, iMessage is exclusive to iOS users.

1. Activating iMessage on Your iPhone
By default, iMessage is not activated on iPhones. Activating iMessage incurs an initial cost (around 3,000 VND). Once activated, subsequent usage is free. If you remove the SIM card from your iPhone, you will need to reactivate iMessage when inserting the SIM card again. It's advisable to avoid frequently removing the SIM card to prevent additional activation charges.
To enable iMessage, go to Settings and select Messages. Activate iMessage, and it will automatically activate with the phone number of the SIM card in your iPhone.

2. Sending Messages with iMessage
iMessage can only send and receive messages to and from users who have enabled iMessage on their devices. Therefore, individuals without iPhones or without iMessage enabled won't be able to send or receive iMessage texts.
Open the Messages app on your phone and select New Message. Enter the name or phone number of the person you want to send an iMessage to. People who can send/receive iMessages will appear in 'deep blue', while those who can only receive regular SMS will appear in 'green'. Choose recipients in 'deep blue' to send iMessages.

When selecting individuals to send iMessages to, in the Enter message content section, it will display 'iMessage,' and the message interface will be in 'deep blue'. Now, you can input your message and send it to others.

3. Some Features of iMessage
iMessage offers a variety of message effects for users. After typing your message, press and hold the Send button to choose from different effects.
Firstly, we have the Bubble effects for text messages. You can choose the mode you prefer, and when the recipient opens the message, they will see it similarly to how you see it.

Afterwards, you can choose the Screen tab (swipe left/right to select effects). When the recipient opens the message, they will see these effects along with the message content.

Once the message is sent, you can provide feedback on it by pressing and holding the message. Express your emotions so that the message recipient in the conversation can perceive them.

Moreover, on iMessage, you can send attachments such as images, apps, payment cards, emojis... It functions similarly to current online messaging apps like Zalo, Facebook Messenger, and more.
