Korean cuisine has garnered immense popularity, particularly its various hot pot dishes. What makes these flavors so irresistibly alluring?
When it comes to craving Korean food, I'm definitely not alone in my obsession. Whether it's the allure of a new Korean restaurant opening or simply a midnight hankering, rain or shine, I'm there in a heartbeat.
Amongst the myriad of hot pot options from around the world, there's something about Korean barbecue that captivates me like no other. Despite my typically impatient nature, I find myself unable to resist the temptation of Korean grilled meats.

Premium, Fresh Ingredients at Seoul BBQ
After dining at various places, I've come to realize that not every restaurant bearing a Korean name serves authentic Korean cuisine. Perhaps to cater to the Vietnamese palate, some chefs have adjusted the flavors of each dish. But personally, I prefer the authentic Korean taste. Authenticity ensures a more enriching dining experience. Among all the Korean restaurants I've tried, Seoul BBQ stands out as the most satisfying. Here, they've managed to preserve the unique flavors of the cuisine.

Grilled Squid with Rich Marinade
The secret sauce ensures that the dish maintains its rich, flavorful, and aromatic essence
Being a huge fan of Korean cuisine, but finding dining out a bit expensive, I attempted to recreate the dishes at home. However, no matter what I tried, I couldn't replicate that same taste.
At Seoul BBQ, I indulged in a myriad of grilled meats and specially prepared seafood. The unique flavors are achieved through exclusive sauces, crafted by seasoned chefs with years of experience. Seoul BBQ offers a variety of marinades, from soy sauce to spicy, honey, and even herbal concoctions. Each sauce has its own distinct flavor, adding irresistible appeal and ensuring an authentic Korean taste.

Irresistibly tempting straight from the initial preparation
The signature sauce at Seoul BBQ is Usu sauce, exclusively created by the head chef to marinate the main dishes. This special sauce, with its light brown color, is a unique blend of apple, pear, and other Korean spices. It pairs perfectly with beef, keeping the meat moist and tender while enhancing its natural sweetness.

Grilled pork belly - my favorite dish
Enjoying grilled food the Korean way
Marinated meats grilled over charcoal fire require careful attention; avoid flipping them too often. Wait until the meat is evenly cooked on one side before flipping to prevent dryness or burning. The fragrant aroma of marinated grilled meat, wrapped in lettuce leaves, accompanied by a variety of side dishes like kimchi and pickled vegetables, dipped in thick soy sauce for a delightful experience. When eating grilled meat, wrap it in lettuce and consume it in one bite to fully savor its flavors.

Panchan: Side dishes to balance flavors
To enhance flavor excitement and reduce meat fatigue, I often enjoy a bit of spicy soju or rice wine. These types of alcohol have very low alcohol content, so even ladies can drink them.

Korean herb-infused chicken thighs
When dining at Seoul BBQ, be sure to try dishes like beef with Usu sauce, spare ribs with Usu sauce, and Korean herb-infused chicken thighs. Every time I dine out, I can't resist these dishes.

Fresh seafood delights
You should think twice before indulging in grilled food here, or you might end up addicted like me. Despite the risk of gaining a few pounds, whenever someone suggests Seoul BBQ, I'm always up for it, convincing myself that 'the plumper, the cuter.'
