Method 1: Finding Facebook ID through URL
Step 1: On the homepage, simply click on the group or Group name to access the group's page.
Step 2: On the new interface that appears -> you'll notice on the address bar a segment that says 'groups/....' -> this is the Facebook ID of the group.
An easier method is to simply move your mouse pointer over the group -> a line of address will automatically appear at the bottom right, where you can now view the Facebook ID.
If the Group or group has been renamed, then with the method above you won't know the Facebook ID. For instance, if the Help Group Mytour has changed to https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mytour/ , then you'll follow the instructions in Method 2 below to view the ID.
Method 2: Finding Facebook ID via Find My Facebook ID Website
Step 1: Log in to Facebook as usual -> then select the group. Next, open a new web browser tab -> go to the Find My Facebook ID page HERE.
Step 2: Copy the Facebook group's URL address -> then paste it into the empty box as shown in the image below -> next, click Find Numeric ID to find the Facebook group's ID.
Note: The URLs of groups typically follow this format (Below we provide an example for the support group Mytour):
- https://m.facebook.com/groups/Mytour/
- https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mytour/
- https://www.facebook.com/groups/1136073589832337/
Step 3: Immediately, you'll see the successful search result, with the Facebook ID number appearing as described in the image below.
