Currently, Sharp refrigerators offer two models with the soft freeze function: the standard 2-door J-Tech Inverter and the 5-door J-Tech Inverter. In the 2-door model, the soft freeze compartment is the flexible freshness compartment located at the top of the fridge. In the 5-door model, the soft freeze compartment is the multi-temperature compartment.
Setting Up on J-Tech Inverter 2-Door Refrigerators
- Step 1: First, close the lid of the flexible freshness compartment.
- Step 2: On the ice compartment temperature control panel, adjust below the MID level (some models might not have the word MID; understand MID as the middle level of the control bar). In the image below, it falls within the red range.
- Step 3: On the cooling compartment temperature control panel, adjust from 75% to the maximum (you can refer to the red range in the image).
Setting Up on J-Tech Inverter 5-Door Refrigerators
For the 5-door J-Tech Inverter refrigerator, setting up is straightforward using the fridge's control panel. Select the multi-temperature compartment and set the temperature for the compartment to -8 degrees Celsius as instructed in the image below.
