Guide: Unlocking Your Windows PC Using Fingerprint on Your Android Phone

Once everything is done, you are basically good to go. Now lock your computer and you will see another option to log in to your computer, which is Fingerprint Unlock. At this point, simply take out your phone, select the Unlock tab, and touch your fingerprint, and you're done, the computer will automatically unlock.
With the paid version, you can also create custom shortcuts outside of the phone's main screen, saving more time every time you unlock. As for the free version, you have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen each time you open the app to touch the fingerprint to unlock the device, which is a bit inconvenient.
Is this tool safe and secure?

Regarding this matter, I've researched on XDA and so far, there haven't been any reports of user data leaks. This application doesn't create a new account on your computer but simply establishes a 'link' via fingerprint on your phone to the user name and password for logging into your Windows computer.

After a few weeks, the developers made some changes to the settings file, reducing the detection rate on VirusTotal to 1/63, and regarding McAfee AV, I've also sent an email reporting the false detection, although there was no response afterwards, McAfee has still added this application to their whitelist, meaning it's considered clean.

From the user's perspective, the developer has made it as secure as possible, supporting TLS (SSL) security between modules. Accounts are stored on the computer and encrypted by the phone's fingerprint. The keys generated are certified by TEE (Trusted Execution Environment), preventing hackers from accessing the keys even if they attack the kernel. Only registered fingerprints on the phone can access the keys, and if the app is deleted or fingerprints are changed, these keys will be permanently erased.
Nevertheless, this is still a quick way to log in for Windows devices lacking any biometric unlocking methods like face or fingerprint recognition.
In my experience, the entire setup process takes only about 5 minutes, and the login experience is quite fast, about 3 seconds from fingerprint touch to computer unlock, with a 100% accuracy rate in all 10 attempts.
