As the largest island in Vietnam, the pearl of Phu Quoc boasts numerous stunning beaches. Below is a list of beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc for your upcoming travel adventure.
Phu Quoc's captivating beaches never cease to enthrall travelers
Sao Beach
Sao Beach is regarded as a beautiful beach in Phu Quoc. Positioned sheltered from the southwest wind, the water at Sao Beach is calm, with gentle waves, warm temperatures, and a turquoise hue. The seabed features fine, soft sand, offering a comfortable slope. The relatively shallow waters make it safe for both children and elderly visitors. During low tide, marvel at the mesmerizing sand ripples.

Khem Beach
Located in An Thoi town, Khem Beach stretches approximately 3.5km with smooth, white, gently sloping sand. Khem Beach forms an enticing crescent shape with white sand adorned by protruding rock formations. At the end of Khem Beach, you'll find Fairy Well, a small freshwater stream. Interestingly, despite the rising tide, this area remains unaffected by salinity, and the well's water never runs dry.

Long Beach
Long Beach spans 20 km, comprising the largest tourism complex in Phu Quoc, located in Duong Dong town, divided into North Long Beach and South Long Beach. Long Beach is divided into multiple small sections connected by rocky outcrops, green trees, and fishing villages. It is the only place blessed by nature with favorable conditions for cultivating pearls.

Dai Beach
Named after its length, Dai Beach extends up to 15km, from Cua Can to Ganh Dau Cape. The beach features white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and can change colors to emerald green or purple. Surrounding Dai Beach are hills of wildflowers, rocky cliffs, and naturally interwoven coconut groves, creating the distinctive scenery of a tropical coastal region that mesmerizes any traveler.

Vung Bau Beach
Vung Bau Beach is a beautiful beach in Phu Quoc, still wild and located on the northwest side of the island. Also known as Crescent Moon Beach, it features a 6km-long crescent-shaped golden sand beach, perfect for activities like swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.

The beach has white sand during the day and turns golden as the sun sets. The wilderness of Vung Bau Beach is reflected in the layers of vegetation, such as various types of hardwood trees mixed with coastal flowers, palm trees, and wildflowers.

Ganh Dau Beach
Ganh Dau Beach is a promontory reaching out to the sea, located about 2.5 km from the Cambodian sea border. The beach is surrounded by pristine forests and historical sites, where Nguyen Trung Truc established a revolutionary base against French colonialists in the 18th century.

Overall, Ganh Dau Beach resembles a fish's mouth, with the entire Phu Quoc island being a large fish waving its tail. In contrast to the bustling town of Duong Dong, the northern tip of Ganh Dau is serene, with sparse population.

Cua Can Beach
Cua Can Beach is a beautiful beach in Phu Quoc, located right near the mouth of Cua Can River where it meets the sea. The beach is formed by the convergence of the ocean currents and the river flow. It stands out with its smooth white sandy shores, undulating like a picturesque painting, with distant mountains embracing the scenery.

Rach Vem Beach
Rach Vem Beach is known as the “starfish kingdom” because visitors can spot starfish everywhere. The beach is quiet and simple, offering a place to enjoy fresh and reasonably priced seafood. Rach Vem features crystal-clear, azure waters, fine white sand, and rows of coconut trees.

Ong Lang Beach
Ong Lang Beach is situated on the western coast of Phu Quoc Island, interrupted by rocky sections. It lies between Ganh Dau Sea and Duong Dong town. From Ong Lang Beach, tourists can observe fishing boats at sea and marvel at stunning sunsets. The water here is either tranquil or turbulent, depending on the season.
