10. Da Dia Reef
Da Dia Reef is a tourist destination in Phu Yen, located in Phu Hanh hamlet, An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district. It is approximately 40km from Tuy Hoa city, impressing visitors with orderly arranged black rocks along the clear blue coast. From a distance, it resembles a giant disc.
The type of rock that forms Da Dia Reef is basalt, formed over 200 million years ago. Many experts believe that when the volcanoes in the Vân Hòa highland region were active, the lava flows meeting cold water caused the basalt to crack, creating these incredibly beautiful rock formations. Today, when you visit Da Dia Reef, you will marvel at numerous rock columns of various shapes, from hexagons and circles to stacked squares, forming a solid structure.
Like a work of art crafted by nature's hand, Da Dia Reef has become a popular tourist attraction that many travelers visit and check-in.
