Many of us have visited at least once the tourist city of Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan Province. However, not everyone gets to explore all the famous landmarks here. Mytour summarizes the most attractive tourist spots in Phan Thiet – Binh Thuan, many of which are still very new.
Unmissable Landmarks When Traveling to Phan Thiet
1. Truong Duc Thanh
Founded in 1907 by patriotic scholars to support the Duy Tan movement in Central Vietnam, Truong Duc Thanh School marks the time when President Ho Chi Minh taught here before heading to Saigon. Today, the school area still preserves almost intact relics from nearly a century ago.

From Phan Thiet city, you can take bus route number 6 (operating hours: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM), covering a distance of 30 km to reach Ke Ga lighthouse (in Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province). If you prefer riding a motorbike, follow national highway 1 towards Phan Thiet from Saigon. Near the Song Phan toll booth (Ham Minh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district), you'll encounter a small intersection. Turn right at this junction, continue straight until you reach Nhum stream area, then turn right towards Ke Ga cape. The majestic Ke Ga lighthouse stands amidst pristine beaches, overlooking the clear waters surrounding Ke Ga island. To visit Ke Ga lighthouse, you can contact resorts to rent a boat or a local fisherman's boat. Usually, local boats or fishermen's boats are not equipped with life jackets. You can either bring your own or contact a resort to rent one.

10. Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda
Ta Cu Mountain tourist area is located near national highway 1A, in Thuan Nam town (Ham Thuan Nam district), around 30 km south of Phan Thiet city. If you enjoy adventure and have good health, you can conquer the mountain peak via over 1000 steps. Alternatively, you can take the cable car which takes only 15 minutes to reach the summit, priced at 90,000 VND for a round trip. At the mountain top, there are two famous pagodas: Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda and Long Doan Pagoda, with the most prominent being the 49-meter-long statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. This is the largest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Afterward, some tourists continue their journey to explore the mountain caves, which are steeped in legends of enlightened beings who attained nirvana here, at the Ancestor's Cave.

Stretching along a section of the beach in Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, lies the 7-color rock beach within the Co Thach tourist area. The rocks vary in size and shape, creating a stunning mosaic of colors. This rock beach has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Book Center (Vieetbook) as the 'Beach with the Most Diverse Shapes and Colors in Vietnam'. Amidst the vast blue sea and white sandy dunes, the appearance of the rocky shore acts as a focal point, attracting more and more tourists for sightseeing. Co Thach rocky shore is an intriguing destination when visiting Phan Thiet or Binh Thuan.

Situated at 706B Mui Ne, RD Wine Castle boasts a medieval European architectural style with a spacious square, elegant arched roofs, and towering watchtowers offering panoramic views of the lush surroundings of Sea Links City. All these images, which seem to exist only in distant European and American countries, are now recreated at RD Wine Castle.
