Specifically, the original announcement from BTC VCS Hoang Hon is as follows:After investigating the misconduct of the SBTC Esports team, BTC would like to announce that the SBTC Esports team has been disqualified from participating in all VCS tournament events for serious violations of the regulations and statutes of the tournament. Consequently, SBTC Esports is no longer allowed to participate in any activities related to VCS tournaments in the future, from participation, team ownership to transfer of playing rights within the VCS system. Furthermore, the owner of the SBTC Esports team - Tran Duc Cuong has been officially banned permanently from participating in the entire Riot tournament system, as well as the following players who have been banned from participating in the entire Riot tournament system for 36 months from after the VCS 2023 Hoang Hon tournament: - Tran 'Nper' Dinh Tuan - Do 'DNK' Ngoc Khai - Nguyen 'Penguin' Dang Khoa - Le 'Dia1' Phu Quy - Le 'Vinboiz' Tran Quang Vinh These decisions are made to ensure absolute fairness and transparency in Riot Games tournaments.
However, this announcement fails to mention the reasons or evidence that assisted BTC VCS 2023 Hoang Hon in reaching the decision. DNK player posted on his Facebook that after agreeing to remain silent for investigation, he only received the response, 'according to allegations from a third party, you violated fair play in the match.'

The fact that BTC VCS did not mention the reasons and evidence for the penalty also raised various questions among the Vietnamese gaming community. Of particular note is the case of player Nguyen Dang Khoa, who just returned to the team, yet hasn't played any matches this season but still received a 36-month ban.
However, according to Mytour, Penguin was a member of STBC Esports for a brief period in late 2021 - early 2022, and competed in VCS winter 2021. STBC Esports ended this season in 7th place in the standings.
It's clear that VCS only publishes penalty results without providing reasons and credible evidence, which is a difficult thing to convince everyone. Hopefully, we will soon see more information about the reasons for this severe penalty from the BTC organizers of the Vietnam League of Legends championship.
