Step Into Action
Exploring Whois.com
Tracing the Owner of an IP Address
Explore https://network-tools.com/nslookup on your preferred web browser. If the domain's ownership is concealed but it's linked to a website (or an IP address), you can investigate who owns the IP address. There's a possibility that the domain registrant also possesses that IP address, although typically it's owned by the company hosting their website.
Enter the domain name into the 'Host' field.

Choose A – Address from the 'Query Type' drop-down menu. This selection reveals IP addresses associated with this domain.
Click Go. An inventory of IP addresses associated with the domain will be displayed.

Copy the IP address following 'A' in the search findings. Highlight the complete IP address, long-press (or right-click) on the highlighted section, and choose Copy.
Visit https://search.arin.net. ARIN serves as the registry for all internet IP addresses.
Paste the IP address and click Search. You can paste by long-tapping (or right-clicking) the typing field and selecting Paste.

Discover the owner in the 'Source Registry' section by scrolling down. Multiple contacts might be listed for one IP address. While the IP address owner may not necessarily own the domain, this information can aid your investigation.
