Assisting reporters in exchanging information with team members, the Laotian Tốc Chiến athlete surprises with her incredibly fluent Vietnamese speaking ability.
Thus, the Southeast Asian Games 31 in Vietnam has officially concluded, yet the lingering impressions of the host country on athletes and participants will endure. It's a friendly, hospitable Vietnam; a professionally organized SEA Games, fostering international camaraderie. Moreover, many athletes from other countries have left a deep impression on the host country's members.
Competing in the female Tốc Chiến event, numerous 'beauties' have caught the audience's attention with their beauty and talent: Elizent (Pemika Rahmani Tarani) from the Thai team; Yugen (Charize Joyed Doble), the top marksman from the Philippines,...

In addition, we must mention Panyasili Douangdeuan, who plays ADC in the Laotian Tốc Chiến lineup. With Douangdeuan, she makes opponents take notice due to her incredibly fluent Vietnamese speaking ability. Besides interpreters, this 1997-born girl actively assists the team of journalists in exchanging information with other team members.

The First Secret Unveiled
Connecting with this female athlete, we got to hear the main protagonist reveal a surprising truth. Apparently, the reason Douangdeuan can communicate in Vietnamese fluently is because she's of mixed heritage, with a Vietnamese mother, which led her to regularly learn and use both languages of her parents.
“My Vietnamese name is Uyển Nhi, currently studying at the National University of Laos. I have a younger sister, a third-year student majoring in Music Education at the Central Academy of Arts Teachers (Hanoi). Both of us can fluently communicate in both Vietnamese and Lao”.

However, unlike her elder sister, while the whole family resides in Laos, the younger sister, also an athlete, chose to study in Vietnam. Due to the pandemic situation, the two sisters have been apart for the past two years. It's only through participating in this SEA Games tournament that the two Tốc Chiến athletes had the chance to reunite.
“My younger sister has been studying in Hanoi for 3 years and we last met 2 years ago. Normally, we communicate and chat daily through Facebook” - Douangdeuan confided.

Reuniting with her elder sister, the younger sibling Sengchenh was equally excited. Despite being busy with her studies, she managed to arrange her schedule to attend and cheer for her sister during the competition days, serving as her emotional support behind their parents. It's known that this girl is also a fan of Esports, particularly of the game Arena of Valor.

However, the meeting quickly came to an end as after the tournament, Douangdeuan had to return home with the sports delegation as well as to complete her studies. She plans to come back to Vietnam to visit her younger sister next year.
Vietnam - See You Soon!
Returning home and reuniting with family, yet the memories of the SEA Games and Vietnam continue to evoke nostalgia for the top female athlete, especially the famous landmarks and cuisine of Hanoi, even though she only had a brief experience. She silently appreciates the 'serendipity' that Esports has brought to her:
“I've been playing games since elementary school. Before trying Tốc Chiến, I played PC League of Legends and Mobile Legends, as well as other genres like MMO RPGs and FPS. 'Try-harding' in Tốc Chiến, she feels more comfortable, especially when out and about.
Bonding with Esports has brought many wonderful 'gifts' to me.”

The Vietnamese-origin female athlete expressed joy and pride at having the opportunity to represent the country in the recent event. Despite the team being newly formed, they trained vigorously and gave their utmost effort for the SEA Games.
“Our aspiration was to make it into the top 4; however, our performance didn't go as planned, leaving us somewhat disappointed. Our opponents were very strong teams; nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves during this competition.”

Additionally, Douangdeuan imagines that if she wants to compete in the lineup of the Vietnamese team, she will surely need to train more. She also expresses hope for a rematch in the near future.
