Genshin Impact is filled with peculiar things that you rarely come across, or perhaps you just haven't been paying attention.
1. 'Jadefin Catch'
Jadefin Catch is a rare material obtainable by fishing in the Sea of Clouds, Liyue. This elusive fish is hard to come by, and the materials gathered from it serve no apparent purpose in character or weapon upgrades.
2. Spiders
Spiders are one of the rarest adversaries in Genshin Impact, even though in open-world games, these creatures are often quite common.
In Genshin Impact, players can only encounter Spiders in certain Domains or specific locations, such as on the precipice of Mt. Hulao after completing the 9 Pillars of Peace quest. Some spiders can be found in the Hidden Palace near a Geo Pillar.
3. Stormeye
Players at lower Adventure Ranks will come across Stormeyes more frequently. At this point, Stormeye plays the role of a small boss that can fly high and has more HP than other enemies. However, as players advance to higher Adventure Ranks, Stormeyes become rarer, only appearing in some daily commission quests.
Stormeyes also do not drop any materials, giving players little reason to seek them out. But if you want to encounter them again, you can head to the Hidden Palace and encounter two Stormeyes on the mountainside.
5. Encounter Quirky Hilichurl
For players not overly concerned with in-game achievements, encountering the Quirky Hilichurl is a rare and surprising event. This Hilichurl is designed based on the CEO of miHoYo, the development company behind Genshin Impact, with humorous appearance and skills.
Quirky Hilichurls can be found in various locations every day, and once defeated, another one may appear. The rewards for defeating Quirky Hilichurls are quite random, but often include cabbage – one of the amusing Easter Eggs hidden in the game.
6. Obtaining the Perfect Artifact
Many players jest that obtaining a Perfect Artifact is even more challenging than getting a 5-star character, and this isn't far from the truth. There's no greater pain than receiving dazzling golden artifacts with DEF, HP, and elemental mastery stats. Even rarer is acquiring artifacts that boost elemental damage with the right sub-stats.
However, in the future, obtaining the perfect artifact might not be as painful for Genshin Impact players, as they can be useful for characters focused on stats like DEF, HP, and recharge efficiency. Nevertheless, we still need to accept that owning an artifact with perfect stats is an elusive dream.
