(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - Beyond the 7 primary regions on the Teyvat continent, Genshin Impact's storyline introduces 2 additional enigmatic lands: Khaenri'ah and Celestia.
After the introduction of Sumeru - Thoma Nation in Genshin Impact, miHoYo has disclosed details about the upcoming regions in the game. Each new region of Teyvat will be revealed year by year, with Fontaine in 2023, Natlan in 2024, and finally, Snezhnaya in 2025.
However, beyond the 7 officially confirmed nations, there are still uncharted territories that players are uncertain about reaching. These are Khaenri'ah and Celestia, only appearing in quests and rumors without official confirmation.
Khaenri'ah - The Fallen Kingdom
A fallen nation, Khaenri'ah plays a crucial role in the entire storyline of this game. The Khaenri'ah dynasty is considered the homeland of the twin siblings Aether - Lumine before they appeared in the land of Teyvat.
Approximately 500 years before the start of Genshin, the event now referred to as the 'Great Deluge' took place. Celestia and the divine entities eradicated the entire Khaenri'ah, transforming its inhabitants into monstrous beings in the deep abyss.
At present, two characters in the storyline hail from Khaenri'ah: Dainsleif and Kaeya. Dainsleif currently roams the continent with mysterious motives and harbors extreme hostility towards Celestia and the 7 gods.
Additionally, Khaenri'ah is introduced to be part of the final chapter in Genshin Impact's narrative. However, the path to this once-known Dark Nation remains shrouded in mystery. It might take a few more years before we embark on a journey to this kingdom.
Celestia Floating Island - Enigmatic Holy Sanctuary
Floating in the sky, Celestia Floating Island is an incredibly mysterious phenomenon that has led to various events in the game up to the current moment. It is believed to be the residence of the gods in the story, including even more powerful deities that we have yet to encounter in the narrative. Celestia played a foundational role in the downfall of Khaenri'ah and holds significant importance in the history of Teyvat.
However, it seems that the gods of Teyvat have a rather 'complex' relationship with Celestia. Venti and Zhongli express hesitation when discussing Celestia, while Raiden Shogun completely severs all ties with the Celestial Island.
Furthermore, the game's narrative explores the Gnosis items. These chess-shaped possessions are owned by the Seven to directly resonate with Celestial Island. They serve as confirmation of a god's status as the ruling deity in Teyvat. However, up to the current moment, the majority of Gnosis items have fallen into the hands of the Fatui forces under the Cryo Archon's command. Yet, it seems that the gods themselves are not overly concerned about it.
Although every time we log into the game, we encounter this island, we still remain uncertain about the possibility of reaching Celestia up to the present moment. Celestia's role is crucial in the storyline, leading many fans to speculate that players will eventually journey here in the future, even if it's still a distant prospect.
