When taking clear portrait photos, moles and blemishes are undoubtedly the least desirable imperfections. However, there's a way to address that limitation using your computer - Photoshop. In this article, I'll guide you on how to remove moles in Photoshop in a very simple way. And if you want to remove pimples, it's similar. Let's see how.
How to Remove Moles in Photoshop
Step 1: First, create a new file by clicking File > New on the Menu bar or use the shortcut Ctrl + N to open Photoshop.
Step 2: After the new file opens, you can start inserting the image you want to remove moles from into the Photoshop workspace. The process is quite simple. Also on the Menu bar, simply select File > Place Embedded > choose the image to insert.
Here, I've prepared an image of a girl's face with various moles of different sizes.
Step 3: Now, let's together remove the moles to make the face look better. After inserting the image, create a new layer by clicking the plus icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.
Step 4: Then, select the Healing Brush Tool on the toolbar. Adjust the settings as shown in the illustration below. (Note that the brush size should be similar to the size of the mole you want to remove and the Sample should be set to All Layers).
Step 5: Next, move the mouse pointer to the flawless skin area > then hold down the Alt key and click to select that area. When you see the mouse pointer change to a plus sign icon as shown below, you're good to go.
Step 6: Now, move the mouse pointer to each mole position and left-click (note that you should only click on the mole position, avoid moving the mouse around the mole position as it may make the image less realistic).
Just remove each mole until you feel satisfied with your photo. Below is my completed work, compared to the original skin, there's quite a difference, isn't it?
