They know Da Lat offers clean air, a cool climate, and, most importantly, cafes with a highland charm. When you visit Da Lat cafes, you'll have numerous choices to relax; you might even spend an entire day immersed in reading, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere. That's why unique cafes are an indispensable part of the entertainment scene in Da Lat.
I believe you should have a few cafe addresses in this misty city so that the next time you fly to Da Lat, you won't feel lost and can quickly find a suitable place. That's why I'm jotting down some unique Da Lat cafes.
1. An Cafe
One of my favorite Da Lat cafes is An Cafe. I often call An Cafe the cafe of cherry blossoms because it's situated amidst the age-old cherry blossom trees of Da Lat.

An Cafe is situated right in the heart of Da Lat city, on the slope of 3/2 Street, Ward 1, Da Lat city. This cafe covers an area of 200m2 and is divided into two sections, indoor and outdoor. Each space is decorated in a unique style, giving you a delightful feeling when you come here to sip coffee and admire the beauty of Da Lat.

What impressed me most about An Cafe is the green space from inside to the alley outside, where you can find various types of vegetables and greens in any small corner of the cafe. Surely, the owner must be a nature enthusiast to invest so thoughtfully.Da Lat cafe

In addition to enjoying coffee with a view, you can also participate in planting trees and harvesting vegetables at An Cafe. Even if you are far away, you can stay updated on the condition of your plant pots as the staff here continuously uploads photos on Facebook. Sounds interesting, doesn't it?Da Lat cafe
Of course, An Cafe offers a variety of drinks, so even if you're not a big fan of coffee, you can find an alternative right away. An Cafe is not only creatively designed but also one of the interesting cafes in Da Lat.

2. La Viet Coffee
Without a doubt about its popularity, La Viet is a must-visit among the cafes in Da Lat. It's not just the travel enthusiasts, even celebrities are quick to 'check-in' at La Viet.

What makes La Viet so attractive is its irresistibly modern space. The floor is laid with concrete, surrounded by corrugated iron, and the dominant color scheme is black and white—extremely minimalistic and stylish. With a Western-inspired design, visiting La Viet coffee feels like stepping into foreign cafes.

Not only renowned for its artistic space, but the coffee here also receives high praise for its rich aroma of the Central Highlands, believe it or not!

Windmillsis a charming and eye-catching cafe from the outside. It's conveniently located near the central market of Da Lat, and it's also close to the classic Tung cafe and the famous Thanh Thao avocado ice cream shop.

Windmills is a Da Lat cafe with a romantic decoration style featuring fresh flowers and warm wooden tones. If you're looking for a peaceful corner in the heart of Da Lat, Windmills is indeed a dreamy spot.

Moreover, the drinks and pastries here are not only beautifully crafted but also delicious, according to my personal taste. Don't forget to try the cute pastries when you visit Windmills!

4. Dalat Train and Villa
The originality of this cafe lies in an ancient train carriage with over 100 years of history, making Dalat Train Villa truly unique among Da Lat cafes. As the owner shared, she spent a considerable amount of time and effort to transport the train carriage to Da Lat and renovate it. To maintain its distinctiveness, every design aspect of the train carriage has been preserved almost entirely.

The cafe is painted green both inside and out, becoming a familiar 'Instagrammable' spot for many young people who love taking photos whenever they visit Da Lat. The interior of the train carriage is also decorated with wood and maps from around the world.

Visiting this cafe, you'll be immersed in an old-world atmosphere, deeply infused with French elegance—simple yet undeniably sophisticated. Come here for a leisurely coffee, lunch, or even dinner as the cafe serves all day.
From inside, you can catch a glimpse of Liangbiang Peak in the distance and witness the enchanting sunset of Da Lat in the evenings.
When asked about choosing a train carriage for the cafe, the owner explained to me that, for her, train carriages always connect people's memories and emotions. She hopes to bring joy to those who come here.

The journey to Me Linh Coffee Garden is quite challenging, located on the outskirts of Da Lat city at 20, hamlet 4, Tà Nung commune. To get here, you have to traverse a 20km road from the center of Da Lat.
