Setting up Audition CC
Step 1: Visit https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/audition and log in to your Adobe account.
Select “Beginner” >> Continue. Creative Cloud Set-up will automatically download.
Step 2: Open Creative Cloud Set-up, log in to your Adobe account. Choose “Start Installing”.
Wait for the Audition CC installation process to complete. In case your computer runs on a 32-Bit operating system, it will automatically install the CS6 version (which can still be used similarly to CC).

How to Extract Vocals from Music Using Audition CC?
In reality, we cannot completely separate vocals from the original music. You can only purchase the original beat from the producer. With Audition CC, what we need to do is reduce the singer's vocal volume so that you can sing along with the music beat.
Step 1: On the main interface of Audition, press Ctrl + O to open the song you want to cut the beat from.
Step 2: Choose Effects >> Stereo Imagery >> Center Channel Extractor…
Step 3: In the preset section, choose Vocal Remove
Step 4: In the Frequency Range section, select “Male Voice” for male vocals, and “Female Voice” for female vocals.
Step 5: Adjust the Center Channel Level and Side Channel Levels columns to your liking. Note that the smaller the Center Channel Level column, the softer the vocals.
Step 6: Toggle the “Power” button to apply changes, use the “Play/Pause” button to listen and compare the original and separated music tracks.
Step 7: Once satisfied, select Apply to apply the settings.
Step 8: Export the music file by selecting File >> Export >> File…
Step 9: Choose the destination to save the file, select MP3 format, then click OK.
Thus, you have completed separating the vocals from the beat.
