Tournament Format
In round 1 of CKTG 2023 Preliminary Round, 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups and compete in a win-loss bracket format. Matches will be played in a bo3 format, and the top 2 teams in each group will advance to round 2.
In round 2, the top 4 teams from the 2 groups will compete for 2 spots to advance to the main stage (1st in Group A against 2nd in Group B, and vice versa). All matches will be played in a bo5 format.
With the aforementioned results, both GAM and TW have the opportunity to advance to the main stage, especially considering the win-loss bracket format.
