The recently introduced 2023 SH Mode version brings no differences in design or equipment compared to the generation introduced in 2020. With this edition, Honda introduces new color options to offer users more choices when purchasing the scooter. The 2023 SH Mode will be available in specific editions and prices as follows:
The new Sh Mode 125cc comes in 4 versions: Sport, Special, Premium, and Standard, with a variety of color options and new color-accented details. Details such as the seat, front handlebar, rear handlebar, logo... are also adjusted in color to create better contrast.
The front wheel uses an 80/90 tire while the rear tire is 100/90. The front brake is a single disc brake with ABS, while the rear brake still uses drum brakes. The instrument panel of the bike is analog combined with a small LCD screen, giving it a modern look.
Another advantage of the SH Mode is the addition of a USB-A charging port in the side compartment, making it easy to open and close. The clothes hook has also been redesigned for easier use compared to the previous SH Mode model. The storage compartment has a capacity of 18.5 liters, which may not be overly impressive but can accommodate a 3/4 helmet or 2 half helmets along with some other miscellaneous items.
The 2023 SH Mode continues to be equipped with the eSP+ engine featuring 4 valves, a displacement of 124.8 cc, and liquid cooling. This engine delivers a maximum power of 11 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.7 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) is equipped on the Sport, Special, and Premium editions, enhancing safety for users during sudden braking, both at high speeds and on slippery roads.
The SH Mode is a scooter model targeting female riders more, competing with other premium scooter models such as the Piaggio Liberty or the Yamaha Grande Hybrid.
