Hence, the Galaxy S24 will essentially have the same type of battery that Samsung used in the Galaxy S21. For those unaware, the Galaxy S22 and had smaller batteries (3,700 mAh and 4,500 mAh, respectively) compared to the Galaxy S21 (4,000 mAh) and Galaxy S21+ (4,800 mAh).

Samsung increased the battery capacity with the Galaxy S23 and a year later, but still kept them smaller than the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. Later, the company boldly described the larger batteries inside the Galaxy S23 and S23+ as an upgrade from the Galaxy S22 and S22+, without comparing them to the battery capacities of the 2021 models.

Fortunately, with the Galaxy S24 series, at least the Plus model will have a larger battery than the S21+, although the difference is not substantial. According to sources, the Galaxy S24 Plus will come with a 4,900 mAh battery, while will come with a 5,000 mAh battery.
