Vung Chua – Yen Island
This is a renowned destination for spiritual tourism in Quang Binh, known to many travelers as the burial place of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a legendary figure with great contributions to the nation.
Located in Tho Son village, about 7km from Ngang Pass, Vung Chua – Yen Island presents a pristine landscape of mountains, forests, and the sea. Thuong Bai Communal House
Approximately 9 km from Vung Chua – Yen Island, travelers on budget tours can easily visit Thuong Bai Communal House, located at the foot of Gianh River Bridge. Mother Suot Monument
Serving as an icon of Quang Binh province, the monument is built and placed right at the center of the Suot mother ferry terminal, honoring the courageous woman who ferried boats through rain of bombs and bullets in the past.
Today, the Mother Suot monument is visited by many local residents and tourists for cultural and spiritual activities, including singing and dancing festivals. Especially, after paying respects at the Mother Suot monument during domestic travel journeys, tourists can also combine a visit to Bao Ninh fishing village and Nhat Le beach.
Hoang Phuc Pagoda
Proudly standing as one of the oldest pagodas in the Central Vietnam region, Hoang Phuc Pagoda was built over 700 years ago as a spiritual hub, preserving the rich cultural heritage of the homeland.

Non-Nui Thanh Dinh Pagoda
Located in Quang Ninh district, about 25 km from Dong Hoi, Chua Non is a place steeped in spiritual significance known to many travelers visiting Quang Binh for its plethora of Buddhas and the Fairy Well situated right in front of the temple gate, with its clear, sweet water. According to legend, those who visit Chua Non and sincerely offer incense and drink from the sacred well will always encounter abundant fortune and prosperity.
