The Dimensity 8300 features 4 high-performance Arm Cortex-A715 cores clocked up to 3.35GHz, along with 4 power-efficient Arm Cortex-A510 cores running at speeds of up to 2.2GHz. All eight cores are based on the Armv9 CPU architecture, and MediaTek claims performance
Computer CPU20% faster and up to 30% higher energy efficiency compared to Dimensity 8200.

In addition, MediaTek's new processor comes with the Arm Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, which boosts graphics performance by up to 60% and improves energy efficiency by 55% at peak speeds compared to its predecessor. MediaTek also claims that the Dimensity 8300 speeds up app launches by 17% and app reloads in multitasking mode by 47% compared to the previous SoC. It also supports four-channel LPDDR5X RAM with a speed of 8,533Mbps and UFS 4.0 internal memory.
The APU 780 inside the Dimensity 8300 makes it the first chip in its segment to support Generative AI with stable diffusion capabilities and LLM support with up to 10 billion parameters. The Imagiq 980 ISP supports sensors up to 320MP and records 4K video at 60 frames per second.

The Dimensity 8300 comes with a 5G modem, supporting dual-mode 5G and download speeds of up to 5.17Gbps on sub-6GHz networks. This chip is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
