Dubai, renowned as the opulent and affluent city boasting the tallest skyscrapers in the world with its array of unique architecture, continues to astonish with its famous artificial tourism experiences that attract a significant number of participants and enthusiasts.
The latest epitome of this is Deep Dive Dubai - an architectural wonder certified by the Guinness World Records as the world's deepest swimming pool, nestled among the seashell-shaped architectural marvels built in December 2020.
With a staggering depth of 60 meters, Deep Dive Dubai has set a record surpassing the depth of the Deepspot pool in Poland, which is over 45 meters deep.
According to CNN Travel, this pool covers an area of up to 1,500 square meters, four times larger than any other pool of its kind, measuring 27 meters in length and 17 meters in width.
To construct this architectural marvel, it required the use of 14 million liters of water, equivalent to 6 standard competition pools used in international Olympic games. This place can even accommodate up to 10 humpback whales. The water is maintained at a temperature of 30°C to provide optimal comfort for divers.
Jarrod Jablonski, the mastermind behind Deep Dive Dubai, expressed his lifelong passion for water since childhood, starting from swimming at a young age to pursuing a career setting world records in underwater cave exploration.
Jarrod has authored three books and become a renowned geologist. However, his passion truly ignited when he embarked on a Mediterranean Sea expedition and received a call about an exciting new project in Dubai.
'It's the closest experience to outdoor diving in a pool. But it's even more unique because no one has ever created a completely themed environment like this before.
'Just like many things in Dubai, the vision is limitless. So while there was a clear plan of what was to be created, I saw it as something grand and was ready to commit to it seriously. I think that's why Dubai has so many firsts because they are willing to take that leap,' Jarrod said.
The result is Deep Dive Dubai, a 60-meter deep swimming pool, four times larger than any other dive pool in the world.

Upon arrival, visitors will receive continuous assistance from staff and be asked questions to reassure their spirits such as: 'How do you feel? With such height, do you feel dizzy or nauseous?',..
Before entering the pool, passengers will be provided with the most modern and safest protective equipment including fins, snorkels, masks, and life jackets for a one-hour guided diving session.
Furthermore, while experiencing diving in the pool, you can freely explore the underwater scenery at record depths. Especially, when you dive inside, your loved ones outside can also interact with each other.
The control room is equipped with 8 screens to monitor all 6 cameras covering the entire pool. In addition to knowing the levels of Oxy, C02, an underwater sound system with 27 speakers is used to create underwater sounds. This feature can even be used to relay announcements from divers through the PA system in case of emergencies or unexpected incidents.
Under the pool, there are life-sized objects such as a car, a bean bag chair, a bicycle, a pool table, a rocking chair, a reading room, a room with a giant tree piercing through all the objects preserved in acrylic, a horse chess set, a chessboard, a gold-plated toilet,...
You can also capture unique underwater wedding dresses in various abandoned environments deep under the pool. Additionally, you can sit in front of the underwater window with your loved one or experience any activity both of you desire.
Director of Deep Dive Dubai, Jarrod Jablonski, told CNN: 'There are quite a few deep dive pools in the world, but this one is much more exciting. It's not only the deepest and largest, but the sunken city effect makes it the next world wonder. It's unfair to call this place just a pool, as it's so much more than that.
