Unveiling the Pinnacle Feature of ROG Phone 8

Today, the brand has officially confirmed a premium feature that will be present on the upcoming ROG Phone 8 smartphones.

As evident in the teaser snippet, ASUS has officially confirmed that the ROG Phone 8 series will come with an IP68-rated frame. This means these phones will support water resistance and dust protection, providing users with a more reassuring experience during device usage.

The IP68 rating ensures that the frame can withstand immersion in water at a certain depth and is sealed to prevent dust particles from entering. This enhancement represents a significant improvement over the IP54 rating of the ROG Phone 7 and the IPX4 rating of the ROG Phone 6 series.

Previous teasers for the ROG Phone 8 series have unveiled a fresh design. Instead of thick bezels as seen in predecessors, the ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro will feature a hole-punch display surrounded by slim borders.
