With the introduction of the Galaxy A9 (2018), smartphones have never boasted such a plethora of cameras before.
During a recent event in Malaysia, Samsung officially presented the high-end Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone. The standout feature of this product is its quad rear camera setup: a 24 MP main camera, an 8 MP 120-degree wide-angle camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom capability, and a 5 MP depth sensor.

The quad-camera system with various focal lengths and functionalities creates the most versatile smartphone camera available today.
With the emergence of numerous cameras, Galaxy A9 (2018) undoubtedly possesses alluring shooting modes at the current moment, ranging from capturing landscapes more effortlessly thanks to the wide-angle lens to portrait shots with a more impressive bokeh effect using the telephoto lens, coupled with an additional camera playing the role of a depth sensor.

In addition, the flagship product of the Galaxy A series is further equipped with many features inherited from its high-end sibling, the Galaxy Note9, such as Flaw Detection, which automatically detects and alerts the photographer to any flaws in the photo, as well as employing artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize the beauty of the photo in various shooting scenarios.

As for selfie capabilities, the Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 24 MP F/2.0 front camera with a range of modes from beauty enhancements to Auto HDR, which have become familiar in this year's Galaxy A lineup.
Apart from the highlight of the rear camera, Samsung's smartphone also draws attention with its back panel adopting the trending color-shifting effect in recent design trends. The device offers three color options: black (Caviar Black), blue (Lemonade Blue), and pink (Bubblegum Pink).

The color options on the device
The overall design of the Galaxy A9 (2018) still carries the signature of this year's Galaxy A series with glass on both sides, a metal frame rounding off the corners for comfortable grip. The device boasts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

The processing power of the Galaxy A9 is driven by the Snapdragon 660 octa-core CPU, 6/8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage, and supports external memory cards up to 512 GB. This is a relatively powerful configuration at the current moment, allowing users to play most games at high graphics settings.

Thanks to its large dimensions of 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm, the Galaxy A9 (2018) houses a 3,800 mAh battery. The company states that the device also supports Fast Charging, although it's unfortunate that it doesn't feature wireless charging like the Galaxy S/Note series.

The device will start selling from November onwards in certain markets. It's unclear whether Vietnam will be among the first countries to receive the Galaxy A9 (2018). Currently, Samsung has not disclosed the specific pricing of this product.
