• 1 packet of egg noodles
• 6 to 12 fresh clams
• 8 cups of chicken broth
• 1/3 cup thinly sliced pork
• 6 to 7 medium-sized shrimp
• 1/2 cup of squid
• 1 cup of bok choy
• 4 pieces of shiitake mushrooms
• Green chili, red chili, garlic, ginger, scallions, onions, carrots
• Seasoning: soy sauce, chili powder, pepper, fish sauce, cooking oil

STEPS TO MAKE SPICY CHINESE-STYLE SEAFOOD NOODLE
Step 1. Prepare the meat portion
Soak clams in saltwater for about 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and drain.

Clean the squid, remove the innards and slimy layer, soak and wash with salt water. Cut the cleaned squid into small pieces.

Step 3. Boil the egg noodles
Bring a pot of water to boil, cook the egg noodles according to the instructions on the package. Make sure not to overcook the noodles.

Remove the noodles and drain them, then set aside in a separate bowl.

Step 4. Boil the clams
Place the clams into a pot of boiling water. Cook until the clams open up.

Transfer the clams to a separate plate, leaving 1 cup of clam broth.

Pour this clam broth into the chicken broth and mix well.

Step 5. Simmer the noodle broth
Heat up a pan, add oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.

Add chili powder, pork, and onions, then stir-fry.

After a few minutes, add shrimp, squid, carrots, scallions, and continue stir-frying.

After a few more minutes, add the cooked clams, bok choy, mushrooms, and broth.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 more minutes. Add soy sauce, salt, pepper, chili, fish sauce to taste.

Step 6. Presentation
Place noodles into serving bowls and ladle broth over them. Add chili, herbs if desired.
