Unveil the Hidden Power of Photoshop: Converting Day to Night effortlessly
Converting Daytime Images to Night in Photoshop
Step 1: Before you start designing your product, create a new file by selecting File > New from the toolbar or using the shortcut Ctrl + N.

Step 2: After creating a new file, prepare a daytime photo to insert into Photoshop by selecting File > Place Embedded from the toolbar.

Then, click to select the prepared photo to insert it as shown below.

Now, align the position of the sky layer appropriately, and our image will look like this.

Step 6: Although the sky has been transformed into night, remaining objects still retain daytime colors. Thus, at this step, change the color of remaining objects in the image to night by selecting the daytime image layer > then in Adjustment Layers, choose Color Lookup.

In the Properties panel, select Moonlight in the 3DLUT File section to transform daytime objects into nighttime ones.

Step 7: After the transformation, not only daytime objects but also the nighttime sky becomes darker when covered by the Moonlight layer. Therefore, to maintain the color of the nighttime sky, click on the square icon with an arrow in the Properties panel (ensure you have selected the Color Lookup layer).

To make the light appear more realistic, select Filter > Blur > Motion Blur from the toolbar to blur the light.

Now the Motion Blur dialog will appear. Set the parameters as shown below and click OK to achieve the best effect.

Step 10: Next, create light reflections on the road surface for the image. Draw an ellipse shape below the road surface and fill the shape with a light yellow color as shown below.

Next, blur the ellipse shape using Blur with the following settings and then click OK.

After completing the above step, your image will look like the one below.

Finally, create beams of light and light glints on the road surface of the lamp post with the same steps as above to complete your masterpiece.
