The youthful charm of Ran's mother has been revealed in a Conan episode.
Despite being a talented and famous female lawyer in Conan, Eri Kisaki always wrestles with family matters, especially with her husband Kogoro Mouri and his peculiar 'lunar charm.' In a Conan episode, the appearance of the couple's middle school friend unveiled many intriguing aspects of their relationship, including glimpses of Eri and Kogoro's youthful looks that delighted the audience.
It was in the episode titled Invisible Suspect, where Kogoro was invited by a film crew, or more precisely, his middle school friend Ruri Ujo, to make a guest appearance. Here, Ruri recounted stories from her parents' school days to Ran, much to the annoyance of the 'zinc mustache' gentleman.
As it turns out, Eri and Kogoro were inseparable since their school days, quarreling like cats and dogs. Even the choice of dipping sauce for omelet rice led to endless arguments between the two.
In a series of past images featuring Ran's mother, it's evident that she has been nearsighted since childhood, never parting ways with her glasses. Compared to the time when she became a prominent female lawyer, Eri Kisaki's high school days portray a slightly less glamorous image, perhaps because her youth was dedicated solely to academic pursuits.
However, for reasons unknown, Eri managed to win the heart of the 'bottom-tier' high schooler Kogoro, even though their personalities clashed like water and fire. In reality, Ran bears more resemblance to her father, with a determined and strong-willed demeanor, yet maintains the grace and composure of her mother. Truly, a household of exceptional individuals (assuming Mr. and Mrs. Mouri haven't separated...)!
