Explore the distinctive Korean cuisine, accompanied by fashion shows and musical performances, presented to the people of Hanoi as part of the 2013 Korean Food Expo.

The expo will take place at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi from September 28 to 29, attracting a diverse audience. Prior to this, on the 26th and 27th, a customer conference will be held at Grand Plaza Hanoi, featuring 30 Korean export businesses and over 80 ASEAN importers and distributors (Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia).
This event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Korea, in collaboration with the Korean Agricultural and Fisheries Food Trading Corporation and the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, aiming to promote unique Korean products and cultural aspects in Vietnamese cuisine.
During the expo on September 28 and 29, approximately 15 Korean businesses will showcase and promote special food products, including traditional food, tea, beverages, and functional foods.

The organizers promise a variety of entertainment activities for the public, such as comedy musicals, K-Pop performances, traditional drum dances, Nanta, hiphop, taekwondo, and more. Expo attendees can also enjoy taking photos with unique and humorous 3D paintings themed around food, such as kimchi noodles, ginseng water, strawberries, and apples.
At the expo, centered around Korean cuisine, attendees can participate in a cooking competition featuring traditional dishes from Vietnam and Korea. They are free to taste and enjoy a variety of unique Korean dishes along the Korean Food Trail in the exhibition area. Additionally, visitors can experience Korean culture through traditional folk games.

Before taking place in Vietnam, the expo was organized in Shanghai, followed by New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong.
Korean Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Lee Dong Phil, stated that this event aims to promote market penetration in the ASEAN region and widely introduce Korean food products to Vietnam.
