Bloomberg reports confirmed sources stating that the US government is negotiating with Pfizer to purchase 500 million doses of vaccine for donation to countries in the near future.

However, the Bioethics Council agreed to allow the use of interim clinical trial results up to the midpoint evaluation point of phase 3 to submit to the Advisory Council for drug registration and consider emergency licensing, while also requesting the company to promptly update research results for future evaluations.
