Guide to Changing the Account for Vietcombank SMS Banking Messages
Change Vietcombank SMS Banking Account
Currently, you can alter the default account for VCB - SMS banking in three ways:
Option 1: Modify at Vietcombank branches nationwide
Present your ID card at the Vietcombank counter, take a queue number, wait for your turn to be assisted by bank staff in changing the default account for receiving SMS messages
Option 2: Change using phone banking services (VCB - Phone Banking)
Dial the Vietcombank hotline at 1900 54 54 13, follow the instructions given by the hotline operator to change the default account for receiving SMS banking messages
Note: To receive support from Vietcombank hotline operators, provide your complete personal information (full name, ID card number, date of issue, place of issue, etc.). Therefore, to save time and avoid multiple contacts, have your ID card ready to provide when requested by the hotline operator
Step 1: Log in to the VCB - iB@nking system Here.
Step 2: Enter your name, password, and verification code to access the system.
Step 3: In the 'additional features' section, select 'change account number' under 'SMS banking'.
Step 4: Choose the account number to use, select the new default account number (choose the account number you want to set as the default for receiving SMS messages), choose the OTP receipt method, enter the verification code, and press 'confirm'.
