Upgrade to iOS 9.0.2 for iPhone and iPad

Currently, users can update their devices to iOS 9.0.2, similar to the iOS 9.0.1 patch. Updating to iOS 9.0.2 for iPhone and iPad occurs quickly due to the small update size. Below are the steps to follow.

Users who have installed iOS 9 now have a second patch to address previous issues.

Similar to updating to iOS 9.0.1, users can upgrade to iOS 9.0.2 for iPhone and iPad via OTA protocol using the following steps:

Navigate to Settings => General => Software Update

Select Download and Install

Agree to the following Terms & Conditions then wait for the iOS 9.0.2 version to download successfully.

Due to its relatively small size, users only need to spend a short amount of time to successfully update their devices to iOS 9.0.2.

Alongside the release of iOS 9.0.2, Apple has officially ceased support for users downgrading from iOS 9 to iOS 8.4 or 9.0. Therefore, users should avoid encountering errors by refraining from intentionally downgrading iOS on their devices.
