Even before the official launch of Windows 11, individuals eager for an early experience could register as Windows Insiders. However, now that Windows 11 is officially released, it is recommended to update to the stable version from Insider Preview to avoid bothersome issues and enjoy a more stable experience.
Updating from Insider Preview to the Official Windows 11 Release
I. Official Update Process from Insider Preview (DeV)

Step 2: Go to Windows Update => Windows Insider => select 'Stop getting preview builds' => 'Unenroll this device when the next version of Windows releases'.

Step 1: Press Windows key + I to open the Settings panel.
Step 2: Go to Windows Update => Windows Insider Program.
Step 3: Select Stop receiving preview builds => Check Unenroll this device when the next version of Windows is released.
- Unenroll this device when the next version of Windows is released: When Windows 11 officially launches, your computer will automatically exit the Insider program. From then on, you won't receive any more test updates and will only receive official updates like other users. All data, software, etc., will be preserved.
Step 4: Close the Windows Settings window and wait for Microsoft to notify you of the official Win11 update. After updating, you will exit the Insider mode and move to the official version.
When updating to the official version, you'll experience a better Windows 11 than the Insider Preview and encounter fewer issues. However, if you still find Windows 11 too heavy and unfamiliar, downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10 for a more stable experience in work and study.
