Twitter offers a variety of useful features to support business marketing, such as creating multiple business accounts, pinning tweets, sharing links through tweets, and shortening URLs.
Refer to the following article by Mytour to explore useful Twitter features for marketing campaigns.
Useful Twitter Features for Marketing Campaigns
1. Creating Multiple Twitter Accounts
The best practice is for a brand or business to maintain only one Twitter account. However, sometimes some brands or businesses may need to create multiple Twitter accounts to address issues related to geographic locations, support specific channels/departments, etc. Refer to how to create a Twitter account here.
If managing multiple Twitter accounts, Mytour recommends using Hootsuite to schedule and monitor Twitter activities. This free web-based product allows users to schedule their tweets or tweet directly (with attached URLs and images), track the streams of people they are following as well as monitor hashtags, keywords, and more.
2. Pin a Tweet
Twitter allows users to pin a Tweet at the top of their profile. When someone visits your profile, they will see the pinned Tweet first.

+ Access your Twitter profile page.
+ Find the Tweet you want to pin.

Upon refreshing the page, the pinned Tweet will appear at the top corner, above recent Tweets.
- Unpinning a Tweet on Twitter:
To unpin a Tweet, click the three-dot icon, choose Unpin, or you can pin a new Tweet to replace the previously pinned one.
Pinned Tweets do not appear on Twitter for mobile devices.

URLs of any length will be shortened to just 23 characters. Click the Tweet button to post your Tweet and link.
