The Beurer PO80 SpO2 and Heart Rate Monitor effectively support monitoring and checking health indicators at home, making it easier for you to prevent dangerous diseases. Below is a guide to using and precautions when using this measuring device.
Principle of Operation of the Beurer PO80 SpO2 and Heart Rate Monitor
The Beurer PO80 SpO2 and Heart Rate Monitor measure blood oxygen saturation and heart rate using optical technology, providing fast, accurate, and safe results for users. The device operates based on spectroscopy and pulse measurement.
Spectroscopy is based on the light absorption of Hemoglobin (Hb) and Oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) for two different wavelengths of red light (660 nm) and infrared light (905 nm). Pulse measurement is based on the periodic change in light absorption due to changes in blood volume between diastole and systole.
