As per customer Lê Minh Dự, “I've had the phone for over a year (since December 2019), it has a beautiful design, performance is decent but plagued by numerous minor issues: weak wifi reception requiring 4G for gaming, frequent freezes, software glitches, and Google Play errors preventing app downloads.”
Mr. Nhật Phạm commented, “Bought it nearly a year ago, still going strong. But the wifi connection is a bit iffy, need to switch to 4G every time I play games.”
Offering a comprehensive and objective perspective, Mr. Hân shared, “As one of the early buyers of Redmi Note 8, after 2 years of usage, here are some observations: sturdy and beautiful design, gaming performance is decent, long-lasting battery, camera is okay. At the price of 5 million VND when it first came out, getting a device with such functionality was great. However, after about a year of use, the device started to heat up abnormally, durability is average.”
Ms. Thu Thủy also noted, “I've been using the phone for almost 2 years now. It performs well for regular tasks like web browsing, video streaming, texting, etc. Occasionally it freezes, but nothing serious. The battery has degraded a bit, but that's probably because of my careless usage. Overall, I'd rate it 8.5/10.”
Currently, Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 4GB/64GB is priced around 4 million VND. At this price point, at this moment, there are probably better options than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 4GB/64GB.
