As previously reported by Mytour, Microsoft will release its next-generation Windows operating system as a free update for eligible Windows 10 devices. In other words, when Windows 11 is launched, users will receive an update notification in Windows Update, and upon agreeing to install it, the entire process will unfold automatically.
Windows 11 users will be able to downgrade to Windows 10 within a 10-day period
After installing Windows 11, if users dislike the new operating system and want to revert to Windows 10, what can they do? Microsoft will implement a downgrade policy similar to the feature update cases on Windows 10. In other words, if you want to go back to Windows 10 from Windows 11, you can easily do so using the integrated OS feature available for only 10 days after installing Windows 11.
- Check this out: How to downgrade Win 11
Starting from the 11th day, downgrading will require a clean install (Clean Install) because the necessary files to revert to Windows 10 will have been deleted.
Microsoft explains: 'After installing the Windows 11 upgrade, you have 10 days to revert to Windows 10 while keeping your files and data intact. After 10 days, you'll need to back up your data and perform a 'clean install' to downgrade to Windows 10.'
In theory, 10 days should be more than enough to determine if you like the new operating system and whether you encounter any significant issues that hinder your expected usage.
Windows 11's Start Menu is positioned in the center at the bottom of the screen. If you find it inconvenient and prefer the Start Menu at the bottom, as in Windows 10, you can switch the Windows 11 Start Menu back to Windows 10 by adjusting parameters in Regedit. Hopefully, with the Windows 11 installation guide, the Win 11 setup will bring you many new and exciting experiences.
