Amazon Prime Video has been accessible through the standard Amazon app on Google Play for a while. However, due to Google Play policies restricting Prime Video from having its own app store presence, Amazon swiftly transitioned Prime Video to Amazon Underground.
Users can now easily download Amazon Prime Video directly from Google Play Store.
Now, Amazon Prime Video is readily available on Google Play, allowing users worldwide to download and install the app without the hassle of sideloading from non-Google Play sources. Download Amazon Prime Video here:

Prime Video has been available in several countries for the past few months, but notably absent from the list was the United States. However, Amazon quietly added the app in the US in recent days.
Although Prime Video is now on the Google Play Store, unfortunately, the app lacks Chromecast support. If you want to watch Amazon movies or TV shows on big screens, you'll need to purchase additional devices like Fire TV, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku, or Smart TVs with pre-installed apps. Technically, users can cast videos from the Chrome browser on their computers, but it's not very convenient.
From now on, users can download Amazon Prime Video directly from Google Play. Of course, users will need to sign in with their paid Amazon Prime account to watch videos on Prime Video.
If you don't have an Amazon Prime account yet, you can sign up and enjoy a 30-day free trial.
In addition to Amazon Prime Video, their competitor Netflix also allows users to sign up and watch movies for free for the first month. Learn how to sign up for Netflix to enjoy the first month's free movies with Vietnamese subtitles.
