Using BHYT Cards on VNeID and VssID

Step 1: Log in to your VNeID account.

Step 2: Select the Document Wallet => Choose BHYT Card.

Step 3: Enter the Passcode to verify the user.

Step 4: Present the BHYT card image on the VNeID app to healthcare personnel.

2. How to use BHYT card on VssID

Step 1: Open the VssID app on your phone => Log in to access your VssID account.

Step 2: After successfully logging in, on the main interface of the application, select the Health Insurance Tab.

Step 3: Select Use Card or Card Image

Choose Use Card: The screen will display a QR-code with the insurance number below and the name, image of the insured person. Provide this code to the healthcare personnel for scanning.

Choose Card Image: The screen will display the image of the Health Insurance card with all the details of the insured person similar to the paper Health Insurance card. Provide the card image to the healthcare personnel for entering the Health Insurance number directly into the VssID app.

Note: Besides the above two methods, currently, you can use the chip-embedded ID card for medical appointments instead of the paper Health Insurance card. When visiting, just present the chip-embedded ID card to the healthcare personnel for scanning the QR-code to verify information and complete the medical procedures according to the standard process.
