Chili Inhibits Cancer Growth

American scientists have found that components in chili have the ability to inhibit and slow down the development of cancer cells. Capsaicin, a crucial compound, acts as a catalyst, leading to the destruction of cancer cells, especially in pancreatic cancer. Abundant capsaicin in chili also stimulates the brain to produce endorphins, an endogenous morphine that has pain-relieving effects, particularly beneficial for those with chronic joint inflammation and cancer.
