Normally, you would manually write down notes on paper to keep track. However, now you can configure dual screen mode in PowerPoint differently. This enables you to view the presenting slide while also accessing other notes without affecting the content being presented on the projector or LCD screen.

* Preparation Steps:
- Laptop running Windows 7 operating system (if using Windows 10, refer to the instructions for using dual screens on Windows 10 at the end of the article).
- An LCD screen or projector.
- RGB connection cable or VGA cable.
To set up dual screen mode on PowerPoint slides, follow these steps:
Step 1: Device Connection
Use an RGB or VGA signal cable to connect the Laptop to the projector (or LCD screen).
Note that projectors typically have 2 input ports for RGB signals, labeled Port A and Port B.
Then proceed to plug in the connecting cable between the projector and the Laptop.
Step 2: Laptop and Projector (or LCD screen) Connection Setup
Press the shortcut key combination Win + P (Windows Win key and P key)
The options interface will appear as shown below:
Proceed to move and then select Extend as shown below:
Once you have successfully completed the process, the signal from the Laptop will be displayed on the projector or LCD screen.
Step 3: PowerPoint Presentation Setup
Open the PowerPoint software -> then click on Slide Show -> and select Set Up Slide Show.
In the Set Up Show section -> customize Multiple monitors as described in the image below -> then click OK to save the settings.
Step 3: Presenting PowerPoint Slides
To begin the presentation, press the F5 key to start from the first Slide.
Alternatively, press the Shift + F5 key combination to present any specific Slide.
