GUIDE TO BACKING UP WEBSITE DATA USING FILEZILLA
Step 1: Download and install FileZilla from this link: Download FileZilla
Step 2: Launch the application, on the main screen of FileZilla, you need to log in to the IP address, port number, and admin account of the website whose data you want to back up, then click Quickconnect.
Step 3: After logging in, the software will display data on your computer in the left pane and data on your server in the right pane.
Step 4: Before backing up website data, navigate the left pane to the folder you prepared on your computer to store the website data backup, then navigate the left pane to the folder containing data on the server that needs to be backed up (usually the data within the public_html folder).
Step 5: You can select one or multiple data to back up, press Ctrl + A to select all similar data as you did on the computer. Then right-click and choose Download, all selected data will be downloaded to the folder you opened on the left panel.
Step 6: While downloading, all information about the download process such as the number of files in queue (Queue files), failed transfers (Failed transfers), successful transfers (Successful transfers), and the speed and size of the files being backed up will be displayed in the bottom panel.
Once the download is complete, you can check all the data contained in the folder you selected on your computer.
